Our client is looking for
As a member of the SAP Technical Team you will support all SAP Basis activities. You will liaise directly with internal Service Desk and manage support from the SAP Project & Support Team. You will interact as well with the SAP Business Intelligence Team.
You will report directly to the SAP Technical Team Leader and indirectly to the SAP Senior BASIS Administrator.
Supporting the SAP Senior BASIS Administrator by executing SAP system copies and/or SAP client refreshes when required.
Supporting enhancements to the current SAP system landscape and report risks/alerts
Dealing with SAP jobs monitoring, daily monitoring activities & background tasks.
Supporting the application of patches as required.
Supporting the SAP systems upgrade activities.
Handling “Transports” between systems
Using the SAP Solution Manager tool and of all its functionalities.
Troubleshooting errors and system recoveries of Windows Servers, network and domain administration
University degree in Information Technology or related field, or appropriate experience in lieu of degree
IT experience (3 years)
SAP Basis experience (3 years).
Experience in SAP Transport Management is essential
Experience with SAP GUI and Application Servers
Working knowledge of SAP Solution Manager
Knowledge or participation in a disaster recovery plan (DRP) would a plus.
Knowledge of SAP Content Server would be a plus
Knowledge of the HR Portal (Employee/Manager Self-Services) would be a plus
Fluent written and spoken English and French are required
SAP Certification on any technical modules or areas would be a plus
Good communication skills
Stress resistant and well organized.
Willing to work during week ends and or normal bank holidays
